This page takes you through the best gear and different types of tier-builds for playing PUBG competitively.
Everyone has their preference but some gear is just better quality than other. We'll give a quick run through some of the gear we and pro players prefer.
The mouse is the most important peripheral component when playing FPS games. Your grip has to be perfect on the mouse without any irritations. The surface for the mouse should just be a basic and cheap cloth mousepad.
ZOWIE mice is very high quality and has a great size for people with medium-big hands. Good for palm-grip. AndyPyro uses this mouse.
Logitech mice is a known brand for their quality and simplicity. This model is rather small and thus good for claw-grip. This mouse is a secure winner for the pro-player and streamer shroud.
Not much to say if you ask DrDisrespect. This is a classic and is still a popular and safe choice. The design is alike the Zowie EC1-A.
Next is the monitor. It's what a gamer's eye and the quicker the eye obtains images and displays the new image the better. Every gamer should at least own a 144Hz. It's simply a must have in these times.
Currently the most popular 240Hz gaming monitor. The notice of 240Hz vs. 144Hz isn't as noticable as 144Hz vs. 60Hz.
Of course pro players leave nothing to chance which is why it's prefered.
Used by most streamers and enthusiast due to the slighty bigger inch measure. This screen is 27" with 240Hz which makes it a good choice for the gamer and enthusiast wanting the high refresh rate and a bigger monitor than the standard 24 inch monitor.
A standard gaming monitor and a at least must have. Often used at LAN's. The general assumption when you've gotten pretty good at a FPS game is a skill increament of 10-15% simply going from 60Hz to 144Hz.
Once you get a 144Hz monitor you'll never go back.
At last the keyboard. Combined with the mouse it's the communication channel to the PC. Mostly used for movement purposes in games and therefore your reaction has to be at top!
The one and only shroud has chosen this keyboard with CHERRY MX Red keys. Likely due to a sponsorship but most pro players and streamers doesn't agree on deals where they bind them to bad equipment.
Therefore this is a top item.
High quality aluminum case with fancy colors and CHERRY MX Red/Brown keys. The color features is rarely something anyone is impressed about, mostly kids. The quality is the most important part and Ninja obviously knows this since he's a proud user.
Again we meet a classic that has been developed and improved through time. The BlackWidow isn't as high quality as others but Razer's own mechanical keys makes up for it and lands a spot on the page.
